  • Playing Instrument: Playing bass guitar mainly. Moreover, I played in different events with band mostly at high school and took part in music competitions called "Vodafone Freezone" 2 times, when I was at high school.
    Additionally, I can play other guitar types as well as some rhythms on drum.

ABOUT ME

I earned my BSc in Mechanical Engineering after studying at multiple institutions through exchange programs - including Yıldız Technical University (Farabi) and Silesian University of Technology in Poland (Erasmus). These experiences broadened my perspective both academically and culturally.

I recently completed my MSc in Data Science at the University of Sussex, where I focused my dissertation on analyzing social media sentiment in cryptocurrency markets. I combined large language models (LLMs) for sentiment analysis with LSTM models to forecast price trends, giving me hands-on experience with time series data and NLP.

I'm a highly motivated learner with a strong passion for building and experimenting with intelligent systems. I enjoy tackling complex problems, learning new tools, and developing innovative solutions - especially at the intersection of AI, data, and full-stack development.

Outside of technology, I enjoy playing guitar and have performed in several events and competitions during my school years. This creative outlet helps me maintain balance while continuing to grow in my technical journey.

EXPERIENCE

  •   - Built a cloud-native system to ingest, process, and visualize real-time sensor data using AWS IoT Core, EC2, and FastAPI.
  •   - Managed AWS services including IAM, Lambda, SNS, RDS (PostgreSQL), and DynamoDB for secure and scalable infrastructure.
  •   - Developed CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to deploy React (frontend) and FastAPI (backend) applications via Docker on EC2.
  •   - Designed a modular FastAPI backend with scalable API endpoints; deployed initially on Render, later migrated to EC2 for full-stack control.
  •   - Created an interactive React.js dashboard with real-time sensor visualizations and filtering options for historical data analysis.

  • Conducted SQL-based revenue and conversion analysis, categorized acquisition channels, and calculated LTV by country. Implemented machine learning models including Random Forest, XGBoost, and LSTM to predict user churn probability and potential customer lifetime value.
  • Dissertation: Social Media Data Analysis of Cryptocurrency Markets: Analyzed Reddit data to explore the impact of social media sentiment on cryptocurrency prices.
